Physical Security Program Manager, DC Security Amer-West

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and  provide storage, compute, and other services to customers worldwide that rely on secure infrastructure. This position is part of the AWS Infrastructure Physical Security team and is responsible for managing data center physical security systems and projects across AWS Gov Cloud regions.

• Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware, including access control devices, intrusion detection, CCTV, and other components.
• Design physical security systems for new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Prepare security design standards, typical drawings, and technical specification documents for pricing by approved vendors.
• Review and provide quality assurance of vendor quotes and submit complete vendor quote packages.
• Project manage multiple concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.
• Serve as subject matter expert for system testing and acceptance, ensuring operational readiness at project completion.
• Prepare and archive project close‑out documentation.
• Report vendor performance metrics regarding system installation, service delivery, and equipment availability/reliability.

• At least 2 years of experience overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
• At least 2 years of experience in physical security project management.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.
• Experience designing, implementing, supporting, and evaluating security-focused tools and services.
• Experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV Surveillance systems.
• Project management experience, including resource planning, schedule management, status reporting, and prioritization across multiple projects.
• PSP, CPP, or PMP certification.

Base salary range: $88,000.00 – $ annually. Compensation includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Additional benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
