Security Officer - Visitor Access

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control access to designated areas in accordance with site procedures;
Help deter unauthorized entry and potential loss by observing vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery traffic, reporting unusual activity, and following escalation procedures;
Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required;
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, the business, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site
