As our Journeyman Truck Technician / Mechanic, you will work on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks in the shop, ensuring repairs are done accurately and timely. You will be a primary member trusted to get trucks back in service quickly and correctly the first time. You will analyze and diagnose truck malfunctions or system failures and determine the best course of action to return the truck to peak performance.

This may include repairing or rebuilding cabs, steering systems, engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, or air systems. You will also maintain and service trucks to ensure reliability, minimize downtime, and extend vehicle life. The role requires hands-on mechanical ability, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will work alongside other technicians in a shop with the tools and resources needed to perform top-notch work on heavy trucks.

• 3 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge. Cummins and MX software experience preferred.
• Self-motivation and assertiveness.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Must provide own tools.

$/hr (Depending on Experience)
