Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Ability to diagnose repair and perform complete rebuilds on many different types of pumps (high head and specialty pumps)
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation and programming of controls Inc. panels
- Knowledge of pump system – submersible, pump system installation – electric and AODD
- Knowledge of filtration; a mechanic should know how to diagnose and repair all filtration equipment including sand media filters
- Ability to obtain most repair parts, including local parts and parts from the company’s warehouse, as the mechanic may need to order them
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of up to five skills required for branch‑specific work
- Complete paperwork/electronic documents as required by management
- Assist in the training of lower‑level technicians as needed
- Participate in the on‑call rotation as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Able to use a calculator, cellular telephone, and tape measure/ruler
- Able to read a map, plan routes, and calculate distances
- Must be motivated, a team player, safety‑oriented, and have a customer‑service orientation

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Employee must have manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Employee will be exposed to heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
