Low Voltage Electrician - Per Diem

Position: Low Voltage Electrician - Per Diem Offered
Trillium Construction is seeking a skilled Journeyman Low Voltage Electrician to support industrial automation and manufacturing systems at an industrial facility in Reno, NV.

This role focuses on the installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems supporting automated equipment, controls, and production infrastructure. Pay is up to $34 + $700 per week per diem. M-S 60+ hours per week. Project is 6 weeks, possibly longer for phase 2 for the right fit.

Key Responsibilities
-Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling and devices for industrial automation systems
-Pull, route, and secure low voltage and control wiring in conduit, tray, and raceway systems
-Terminate CAT5/CAT6, fiber (if qualified), control wire, and device-level wiring
-Install and connect PLC panels, I/O racks, sensors, HMIs, VFD interfaces, and automation devices
-Read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and layout plans
-Perform point-to-point testing, labeling, and documentation
-Troubleshoot low voltage circuits and automation-related wiring issues
-Follow all site safety requirements, Tesla standards, and MEI quality procedures
-Coordinate with automation technicians, engineers, and supervisors

Qualifications
-5+ years experience
-Proven experience in industrial automation or manufacturing environments
-Strong understanding of low voltage control systems and industrial wiring methods
-Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams
-OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 required
-Experience in data centers, manufacturing plants, or automotive facilities preferred
-Ability to pass site-specific background and orientation requirements
