We are looking to hire a reliable and talented person to join our team as a Diesel Mechanic. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, and be dependable. This person must also be comfortable working on multiple projects at once; enjoy challenging tasks and be able to handle changing priorities.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
* Preparing work orders and communication with service advisors
* Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
* Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks
* Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts
* Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts
* Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown
* Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance
* Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles
* Other duties as assigned## Qualifications

Qualifications:

* Must have at least one year of verifiable employment
* Experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment
* Mechanic experience is preferred but not required
* Heavy-duty truck experience is a plus
* Experience in Customer Service
* Communications skills

* Full-time
* Swing shift: 3:00 PM- 11:30 PM
* Monday - Saturday
* Pay scale:  + Apprentice: $20.00 - $27.00  + Tech I: $27.00 - $31.00  + Tech II: $31.00 - $36.00  + Tech III: $36.00 - $40.00  + Tech IV: $40.00 – $45.00    - Swing shift receives $2.00/Hour Shift Differential
* Non-exempt position
