Job Summary
At least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Grade Checker, must have GPS/Survey Equipment experience; wastewater civil construction experience preferred; must pass pre‑employment drug testing and be available to work overtime as needed. Pay ranges from $32 to $35 per hour depending on experience; $120 per day per diem for qualified candidates traveling over 90 miles. Work schedule is 50+ hours per week;
anticipated project duration is approximately one year.

Job Requirements
- NCCER Core Curriculum and/or a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- One year of experience (Level I), two years (Level II), and three or more years in the industrial/commercial construction industry is preferred.
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.).
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
- May stoop, kneel, or bend on an occasional basis.
- May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.
- Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas.
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects on a frequent basis.
- Will climb and maintain balance on steel or wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
- Will lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
- Work up to a 12‑hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
