Job DescriptionPower Equipment Technician $1,200+ WEEKLY Join Savard Personnel Group – where your skills are valued! Key requirements include performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on generators, load banks, power distribution equipment, transformers, and low-voltage cables. Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues and perform major repairs. Dismantle, rebuild, and reassemble equipment as needed. Conduct preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and low-voltage QC checks. Prepare rental equipment, including generators, AC/DC load banks, transformers, cables, and trailers.
Operate hand tools, power tools, metering equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, and shop equipment. Fabricate parts and equipment to meet shop and customer needs. Accurately complete repair documentation and assess repair time and costs. High school diploma or GED preferred. Trade school graduates or candidates with mechanical, electrical, diesel, industrial maintenance, or generator experience are encouraged to apply. Valid driver's license required.
Must be at least 23 years old with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR). Must have reliable transportation. Techs are required to travel anywhere from the West to the East Coast for 2-week periods. All expenses covered, including per diem.
Shifts:
Full-time:
Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm; overtime available. First 3 weeks consist of hands-on training in the shop. Duration: temp-to-hire.
