Mobile Maintenance Mechanic
Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose Heavy Duty trucks and other equipment.
Repair and/or replace any defective parts, components, or systems.
Test equipment once repaired to ensure operation is complete.
Travel to various remote sites to accomplish field repairs and/or Preventative Maintenance on internal and external trucks.
Document steps taken throughout the repair process on work orders and list supplies used for the repairs.
Occasional welding on equipment as needed.
Required:
3 – 5 years' experience in Heavy Duty truck applications
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems used in heavy duty equipment.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Must have own tools
Valid driver license
Ability to use multiple scanning tools for diagnostics.
Ability to use and interpret technical manuals.
Ability to work alone.
CDL (Class B Commercial Driver license)
Preferred:
Completion of a technical certification program for mobile heavy equipment repair
Mobile mechanic experience
Supervisory experience
