Warehouse Associate 1st shift Retail

Work in Town at Summit Racing Equipment

This is a 1st shift full-time position. It is Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm and pays $18.25 per hour.

Responsibilities will include:

• Retail – Process customer's orders by picking the specified product and quantity from the designated location and delivering the order to the Retail store.
• Process retail Putaway using the proper procedures.
• Complete assigned workload according to procedures to meet or exceed department productivity and accuracy standards.
• Effectively utilize system resources and equipment to process workload.
• Identify and communicate issues that would negatively impact on customer service, safety, teamwork, and/or the profitability of the company.
• Operate vehicles per company safety policy and guidelines.
• Assist other departments and employees as necessary.

Requirements:

• Have ability to speak, read and understand English, and have basic math comprehension.
• Must be able to use technology (scanners, computers).
• Must have demonstrated safe operation of all equipment for retail pick:
• Mule
• Bigfoot
• Stock picker
• Forklift/reach truck
• Riding pallet jack
• Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve required performance standards.
• The position requires climbing stairs, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, lifting and continuous use of equipment. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. consistently.
• Must be able to maintain valid equipment certification
