Swim Lesson Instructor

Red Hawk Golf and Resort is hiring for PT Swim Instructors for our Summer Season (approximate dates 5/15-9/30). The Swim Instructor is responsible for providing consistent, quality private swim instruction.

$18+ per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities of the Swim Lesson Instructor:

* Provide quality swim instruction to early swimmers in a private appointment only setting.

* Establish clear objectives and goals based on participant ability and maintain a supportive and positive environment.

* Adhere to swim and pool safety standards.

* Effectively communicates with students, parents, and managers.

* Follow pool rules and directions from Lifeguard.

* Supervise and observe swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.

* Create a fun and safe environment for early swimmers.

* Communicate with parents and swimmers regarding progress and improvement.

* Maintains all necessary records determined by the department manager.

* Regular and reliable attendance required.

* Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications of the Swim Instructor:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* CPR, First Aid.

* Experience required.

Other

Qualifications:

* WSI certification preferred.

* Must love working with children.
