Driver
Job Summary:
- As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials, products, and equipment between our facilities, suppliers, and customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Safely operate a 13-speed freightliner with a 45' curation side trailer and Moffet for an overall lengthen of 65'.
- Transport materials, products, and equipment to and from specified locations.
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance, safety, and reporting.
- Other duties assigned by management
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety.
- Load securement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with a 13-speed transmission. (No automatic recreations)
- Experience with a Moffet plus.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and driving
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs at times
$34-$38.00/hour
