General Labor, Material Handler
Overview
Oversee daily operations within the receiving and shipping departments, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory control. This position requires strong computer skills—especially proficiency in Excel and WMS—to support inventory processes. Additional responsibilities include picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
Responsibilities- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Position racks on the warehouse floor using laser measuring tools with complete accuracy.
- Assemble electronic components and install cabling into server racks by following detailed diagrams and schematics.
- Install rack hardware using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
- Conduct quality inspections on all incoming and outgoing freight, verifying part numbers, quantities, and overall material condition.
- Perform daily cycle counts and manage replenishment orders for critical datacenter spare parts.
- Process return shipments for electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
- Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in alignment with 5S standards.
- Frequently push, pull, and lift materials throughout the workday.
- Delegate tasks and communicate effectively to ensure smooth execution of all responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Proficiency in Excel for inventory tracking and reporting.
- High attention to detail when performing quality checks.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse leadership experience.
- Computer skills.
- Experience with warehouse inventory systems.
- Ability to operate various material handling equipment.

Work EnvironmentThis role requires occasional Saturday work and ability to work 12-hour shift schedules. May be exposed to outdoor environments. Pay ranges from 28 - 34/hr doe.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, NV.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
