Curious about how logistics keeps Spectrum running smoothly every day? As a Warehouse Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate inventory management and secure material handling. Your attention to detail supports efficient operations and strengthens our commitment to delivering quality service.
How You'll Make an Impact- Maintain secure storage and precise inventory control for materials and equipment to ensure compliance
- Operate material handling equipment to transport inventory across designated Spectrum locations
- Receive shipments, validate against purchase orders and update inventory systems according to audit requirements
- Stock materials in assigned locations and promptly notify management of shortages or damages
- Process orders, returns and material stock requests using Spectrum's inventory and billing systems
- Manage deliveries to retail stores, off‑site warehouses and other Spectrum locations as needed
- Assist with preparing, counting and reconciling daily, monthly and annual inventory cycle counts
- Warehouse environment
- Exposure to dust, fluctuating indoor temperatures, and periodic high noise levels
- Work outdoors in all kinds of weather
- Work and travel in inclement weather
Required Qualifications Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to communicate and prioritize workload
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to operate and obtain certification for material handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jack
- Ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite and bar‑coding equipment
- Ability to operate company vehicles up to 24 feet or greater in length
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within Spectrum and State DOT standards
- Experience with cable products and services
- Ability to bend, squat, and kneel
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push and pull up to 80 pounds
- Ability to use weight‑bearing equipment safely within specified limits
