Warehouse II

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is movement of product within the warehouse. In addition, this role will serve as back‑up delivery driver for non‑CDL trucks. This is a general labor position that will prioritize and pick product to fill orders, and physically move and lift product weighing as much as 150 pounds.

• Assist in administrative tasks such as the handling and preparation of paperwork.
• Assist in the daily closing of the warehouse.
• Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size, and type, inform management of inventory and supply shortages, and assist in periodic inventory counts.
• Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over‑and‑under shipments, returns of products to vendor, etc., and segregate defective product from normal flow of inventory.
• Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
• Designate and organize the warehouse stock by product line and by physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow.
• Load and unload delivery trucks – lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds. Handle tires (rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than 50 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) safely and maintain an operator license if required.
• Perform periodic facilities maintenance and custodial tasks such as cleaning the parking lot, loading dock, and surrounding area; keep floors clear of debris, maintain bathrooms, and assist in daily closing down of the warehouse.

Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste, and/or smell. Must lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds and handle tires greater than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment may expose the employee to weather conditions and moderate noise levels. Travel required 5% of the time.

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
