Job Location: Symbia Fulfillment Services of NV - Sparks, NV 89437
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Take initiative to move quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
- Flexible shift hours, up to ten hours, with focus on productivity.
- Problem solver; find solutions, not just problems.
- Receive, inspect, and record shipments of products and materials to ensure documentation alignment.
- Schedule and confirm receiving appointments, directing traffic of freight handlers.
- Unload trucks and receive inbound products.
- Perform daily dock sweeps to maintain dock inventory awareness.
- Examine deliveries and reject product with damages; handle items without PO or invoicing before receiving.
- Oversee trailer processing; develop and own KPI metrics.
- Ensure all shipped orders closed out each day.
- Process purchase orders daily through WMS and client proprietary systems.
- Coordinate with operations to prepare space for incoming shipments.
- Clear docks quickly to move product into inventory.
- Report discrepancies and other dock activity to supervisor.
- Maintain clean and orderly warehouse environment; apply procedures, rules and regulations.
- Support EDI transmissions if needed.
- Run reports through systems as required.
- Provide support to packaging and shipping teams.
- Maintain shipping and receiving records, including returnable pallets, lot control, and expiration tracking.
- Prepare bills of lading and other shipment tickets.
- Operate industrial equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks, and maintain certifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma preferred.
- 1‑2 years of warehouse experience; prior experience in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with warehouse data systems.
- Understanding of dock and warehouse procedures.
- Proficient with MS Office and ability to quickly learn WMS and supporting systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and inventory skills.
- Math skills for accurate sorting, counting, and verification.
- Dynamic, growth‑mindset, comfortable being themselves.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Stand and walk extended periods; at least two hours standing, four times in an eight‑hour day.
- Twist, bend, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently.
- Use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements.
- Warehouse environment with temperature shifts (cold to hot).
- Operate industrial lift equipment; access equipment regularly and may involve heights.
- Exposure to loud noises, dust, moving mechanical parts and equipment.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
