As the Warehouse Lead
, you will be a key contributor to our distribution center’s success. In this hands‑on leadership role, you’ll create and maintain a safety‑first culture while ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations. You’ll oversee a team of associates, driving productivity, accuracy, and compliance with all safety protocols.
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager
, you’ll be onsite and actively involved in day‑to‑day operations.
- 2nd Shift (+ $1.00/hour shift differential)
- Foster a safety‑first culture among all warehouse associates and truck drivers, implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and cost‑effective distribution environment.
- Oversee warehouse organization, including bin location management and ERP transfers for operational efficiency.
- Assign tasks to operators based on schedules and targets agreed with the Supervisor.
- Communicate progress and challenges to operators, supervisors, and business leaders through meetings and reports.
- Manage inventory accuracy through audits and cycle counts and track all inbound/outbound shipments with proper documentation.
- Fill in for Supervisor when required and perform other duties as assigned by Site Management.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2+ years in a warehouse environment with knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (preferred).
- Basic computer skills and ability to use warehouse technology (RF scanners, printers, computers).
- Strong communication skills for team coordination and reporting.
- Ability to lift 40–60 lbs routinely and up to 80 lbs occasionally; stand for extended periods; bend, stack pallets, and operate equipment.
- Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
