Senior Warehouse Associate

Responsible for overseeing specialized warehouse duties, including receiving, inventory control, customer service, and order fulfillment.

• Oversee the receiving, counting, and recording of shipment data in the system.
• Cross-check the packing list information with the actual packed merchandise and ensure the packages/merchandise are prepared for storage.
• Ensure items are packed, unpacked, and labeled with identification tags.
• Verify computations against the physical count of stock. Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects.
• Ensure the products, supplies, and equipment are delivered to the designated area.
• Responsible for organizing order layout and adjusting carriers or picking methods if required.
• Responsible for answering questions related to shipments via email or telephone to internal customer service group.
• Daily maintenance of warehouse work environment.

• May modify processes to resolve situations.
• Under limited supervision, relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach to achieve desired outcomes. Course of action is often determined by interpreting procedures and policies. Work typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor or direct customers of the process.
• Is sought out and/or assigned to provide general guidance/direction, training, and technical assistance to junior level support personnel. Contributes to employees’ professional development but does not have hiring/firing authority.

• Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.
• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

• Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas. Generally 5-7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.

• 5-7 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
• Time management and organization skills.

$19.10-$26.20 Hourly

Nevada law requires the posting of the salary range for advertised jobs. This range is determined based on market data and internal pay practices to establish a minimum and maximum value for a job. Individual base pay is determined based on a variety of elements including experience, skills, internal equity and other factors.
