The Warehouse Associate is responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment for the purpose of shipping, receiving, and picking. Activities may include loading or unloading, scanning, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. The Associate is also responsible for counting, inspecting product, and notifying leadership of damages or discrepancies. The role requires safe and efficient operation of all equipment and compliance with company policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Shipping:
Use a gas or electric powered forklift to load outbound shipments, move product, and stack items accurately per SOP. - Receiving:
Unload inbound shipments, replenish, stack, and store products accurately per SOP. - Picking:
Accurately pick orders, stage, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products per client requirements. - Quality Control:
Verify product receipt, handling, and shipping, report damages or discrepancies, and ensure quality standards. - Safety & Housekeeping:
Execute safety protocols, maintain facility cleanliness, and comply with OSHA/MSDS standards. - Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
Operate sit‑down, stand‑up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, Aisle Master, or pallet jack; maintain equipment; perform daily inspections and minor maintenance. - Maintenance:
Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned. - Other Duties:
Perform duties as assigned; work overtime as required.
Base pay: $21.50 hourly (actual compensation determined by experience, education, certification, and location).

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 months experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
- Able to operate material handling equipment.
- Completion of a forklift training program.
- Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures (mild to moderate).
- 1–3 years experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- 1–3 years forklift experience.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
Bending (occasionally); walking and standing (constantly); ability to lift, carry, push, pull, reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
Work EnvironmentLow to moderate noise; rarely exposed to fumes, airborne particles, or caustic chemicals.
