The Warehouse Lead oversees daily production operations and leads a team in achieving safety, quality, and productivity goals. This position plays a key role in coordinating workflow, supporting employees, and ensuring efficient operation of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Sparta, IL

Mon-Thurs | 6am-4:30pm and Friday (Full-time position. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs)

$21/hr.

• Coordinate daily workflow and assign tasks to team members to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Monitor shift performance and adjust staffing or priorities as needed to maintain efficiency.
• Oversee production line setup and changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Ensure machinery and equipment are operating effectively and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Track production metrics and communicate progress throughout the shift.
• Train new team members on procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Provide regular feedback and assist employees with performance improvement.
• Foster a positive work environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain production documentation.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Knowledge of hand tools and simple troubleshooting.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach all day.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
