The Material Handler / Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by safely receiving, organizing, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Location: Sparta, IL

Hours: Mon-Thurs | 6am-4:30pm and Friday (
* Full-time position. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs)

Compensation: $18/hr.

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other material‑handling equipment.
• Load outbound shipments and ensure proper documentation is completed.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Maintain organized storage locations and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Inspect materials and products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all company safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with warehouse projects and other duties as assigned.

• Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach all day periods.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
