Long-Term Substitute Teacher
Ridgeview Elementary is seeking a long-term substitute teacher for a Kindergarten classroom to cover a temporary absence while the teacher is out on maternity leave. This position will involve a classroom of our youngest learners. This position will run from October through the end of December 2026.
Position Responsibilities:
- Teach the Kindergarten curriculum, use pacing guides, and instructional resources.
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons that support a range of learners.
- Utilize technology effectively, including Power School and Google Classroom to manage assignments, assessments, and communication.
- Collaborate with the Kindergarten Team.
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that supports student learning and accountability.
- Carry out all standard teacher responsibilities, including attendance, grading, supervision, and communication with students and families as needed.
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
