School-Based Registered Nurse; RN - Sparta, Michigan

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
• Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric nursing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment
• CPR and First Aid certifications required
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal health regulations in education

• Provide daily health care to students and staff, including first aid, medication administration, and management of acute or chronic health conditions
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to ensure student safety and well‑being
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
• Educate students and staff about disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and emergency procedures
• Act as a liaison between the school, families, and local medical providers as necessary
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized health plans
