The HVAC Installer is responsible for the installation of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both new construction and retrofit projects. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety. HVAC Installers work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within specifications, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation of commercial HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment onsmall to mid size projects.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications to determine materials, cut lists,and installation procedures.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards, project specifications, and applicable building codes.
  • Perform quality checks to confirm systems are installed correctly and function efficiently.
  • Collaborate with leads, project managers, and other trades to maintain smooth project flow.
  • Work both independently and exercise sound judgement with minimal supervision.
  • Mentor and support apprentices and helpers to promote skill development and teamwork.
  • Identify installation issues, propose solutions, and assist with problem resolution.
  • Complete assigned work tasks daily and plan for the next day’s activities.
  • Follow established safety practices by wearing proper PPE, and ensure a safe, organized job site.
  • Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Minimum (2) years of commercial HVAC installation experience preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus
  • EPA Certification and additional HVAC related certifications preferred.
  • Already certified or willing to be trained in equipment licensing, First Aid, and CPR.
