We are more than just a parts store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you will be the "face of the retail store," assisting customers with their automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (though that’s a bonus); a background in automotive parts is preferred.

This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other opportunities within the company.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
  • Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
  • Delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Engaging with customers to ensure a positive experience
  • Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs
Who This Is For
  • People who enjoy helping customers with auto parts questions
  • Individuals with automotive industry experience or hands-on vehicle repair experience
  • Willing to learn automotive parts if new to the industry
  • Motivated to grow and develop their career
Minimum Requirements
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
  • High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enjoys fast-paced retail environments
  • Strong listening skills and empathy
Preferred Qualifications
  • Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership industries
  • Experience with inventory management or catalog systems
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
