As our Staff Accountant, you'll play an essential role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's financial success.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and post journal entries during monthly and year‑end close processes
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure financial records are accurate and complete
- Manage daily bank reconciliations, cash receipts, and cash postings
- Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns
- Create and distribute sales commission and royalty reports
- Process and post Concur expense transactions and reporting
Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and special projects as assigned by the Controller - Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Partner with departments across the organization to support operational and financial objectives
- Support continuous learning and process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Three or more years of accounting experience preferred
- Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
- High degree of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Takes ownership and follows through on commitments
- Enjoys analyzing data and solving problems
- Looks for ways to improve processes and drive efficiencies
- Communicates effectively with both finance and non‑finance teams
- Values teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Extended periods of computer and data analysis work
- Frequent communication and collaboration with internal teams
- Occasional lifting or moving of materials up to 25 pounds with assistance
