Position: Inside Sales / CSR (1st Shift)

Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative

We are seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative for a family-owned business in Cookeville, TN. Candidates must have excellent multi-phone line skills & computer skills with a strong knowledge of Excel and Outlook. Experience with live chat in a business setting is a plus. Must be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and learn relatively quick.

Schedule:

Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break

Job Duties of the Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative:

Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat using excellent communication skills.

Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to update customer information in the system.

Utilize outbound calling techniques to follow up with customers and provide assistance as needed.

Analyze customer needs and recommend products or services to drive sales and upsell when appropriate.

Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other computer skills to support daily operations.

Skills and Qualifications of the Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative:

Proficiency in English.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
Sales experience is preferred.
Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to perform outbound calling and analyze customer needs.
Comfortable using and conducting video chats.
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Live chat, and Microsoft Excel.
