Packer- C Shift

• Safely handle and operate any machinery, tools or equipment used.
• Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
• Must be capable of selecting appropriate size boxes for running product and assemble boxes with the provided tape gun.
• Properly align 6–9 assembled boxes at the machine without blocking aisles or exits.
• Determine if the order requires caps. If caps are required, fold the liner over bottles and insert caps at the top of the filled box. If no caps are required, insert the liner into the box before sealing.
• Place boxes on a conveyor. Once the boxes reach the end of the conveyor, randomly sample product to check for visible defects. Report any defects to a supervisor immediately.
• After inspection, fold liner over product to avoid contamination.
• Retrieve label from label machinery and place it on the completed box; proper placement and fitting is required.
• Place labeled boxes on cooling skids for approximately 60 minutes before stacking on the finished skid. Up to 6–12 boxes may be cooling at any one time.
• After cooling is complete, seal the box with the tape gun and stack onto the finished skid. Labels must be visible. Follow specified stacking requirements.
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to off‑smells (heated plastic, chemical fumes, and airborne particles), elevated noise levels, and temperature variations. Proper use of PPE is required at all times. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud, and the employee may be exposed to seasonal weather conditions if required to go outdoors.

• Remain stationary for extended periods of time.

• Position self to ground level as needed.
• Stand on feet for 8–11.5 hours per day, minimum of 5 days per week, with some mandatory overtime requirement of 6 days per week.
• Move, adjust, and position objects weighing 10 to 45 lbs.
• Identify, recognize, and assess documents, machinery, and more.
