Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined.
  • Lead clinic staff—ex. X‑ray technologists, nurses, and front‑office specialists—in delivering excellent patient care.
  • Provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
  • Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and guide treatment.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership and, when necessary, elevate concerns to management to ensure strong patient care and adherence to company values.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and forward charts as appropriate daily.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centred care, safety, cost, and reliable accurate information.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with department expectations and in compliance with federal and state regulations and HIPAA.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings.
  • Pursue a queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow‑up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests and responsibly prescribe medications, educating patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Adhere to clinical practice guidelines set by the Office of Medical Affairs.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training, maintaining high quality of care.
  • Adhere to the core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care within the clinic and to telehealth leadership.
  • Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and provide an overview of clinic processes.
