Cart Attendant

Overview

NEW Full Time | Part Time $14.00 - $27.00/hr part time. Shift may start between 8:00am - 11:00am or 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Role summary:
Cart Attendants ensure customers have a great first and last impression of our stores. They gather carts from the parking lot, operate equipment to move carts from the parking lot to inside the store, and maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the shopping carts. You will be a key part of how our customers feel as they enter and exit the store. You may be the first, last, or only associate a customer interacts with. Accent positive customer service through smiling, greeting, and thanking every customer. You are an ambassador of Walmart. The role can be fast-paced in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. You may need to juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while assisting customers, such as scanning items, explaining prices, bagging items, counting cash back, and keeping your area clean.

• Greet customers and provide friendly service
• Assist with cart gathering from the parking lot and transporting carts inside the store
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and carts

Additional compensation details include performance incentives and various benefits. The role may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

Cashier

• Smile, greet, and thank customers with a positive attitude
• Stand for long periods while checking out customers quickly and accurately
• Keep your area clean and presentable
• Answer customer questions and help them with their needs
• Be available to assist associates across the store as needed

Cart and Janitorial

• Ensure customers have a great first and last impression
• Gather carts from the parking lot
• Operate equipment to move carts from the parking lot to inside the store
• Clean restrooms, sales floor, and parking lot as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude in all weather conditions
