NIGHT SUPERVISOR – Fort McCoy, Sparta, WI- Pay Rate: $18.75
- Shift: Full Time
- Schedule: Monday‑Friday
- Hours: 4:00 pm – 12:30 am

Reporting to the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for supervising work‑related opportunities for people with disabilities, working with integrated teams, and providing work support and development to achieve the highest level of independence possible. The Supervisor leads janitorial staff, oversees contract compliance, maintains safety and company culture, conducts evaluations, and manages scheduling, training, performance, and discipline.
TypicalDuties
- Performance Management: Ensure work meets contract statement of work, company policies, laws, customer requirements, and safety standards. Provide a safe environment; enforce OSHA regulations, complete incident reports, conduct safety training, and manage contract paperwork.
- Janitorial Support: Observe and assist crew in completing contract tasks; clean, sanitize, restock bathrooms and common areas; maintain chemical and equipment storage; vacuum, sweep, mop floors and stairs; transport crew as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain quality standards through regular inspections, correct deficiencies, and resolve customer complaints. Relay updates or changes to contract to workers and PM.
- Client and Staff Development: Apply techniques for working with individuals with disabilities, provide training and feedback, oversee new worker training, and develop job and behavior skills. Complete monthly/quarterly client assessments.
- Effective Leadership: Supervise all site positions, communicate client and employee issues to PM, recommend corrections or discipline, motivate and coach employees, and foster a culture aligned with company values.
- Driving:
Pass driving history check, maintain valid driver’s license, and be 21 or older to drive. Personal insured vehicle may be required. - Sitting:
Occasionally sitting in normal office-sedentary work. - Hearing, Speaking:
Frequently standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, twisting while training crews and performing janitorial duties. - Seeing:
Continuously visually alert to monitor employee and client actions and equipment. - Handling:
Frequently using hands for grasping, lifting, carrying, wiping, and filing. - Movement:
Occasionally bending, reaching, twisting, climbing stairs or ladders, squatting, and kneeling to clean, dust, inspect, remove trash, sweep, and mop. - Lifting:
Occasionally lifting, carrying, and pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds of mop buckets or trash barrels.
- Education:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years janitorial experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory or training role. Solid oral and written communication skills required. - Driver’s License:
Regular in IL, WI, OH, SC;
Class E in MO. - Computer
Skills:
Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. - Background Checks:
Must pass criminal and state/federal background checks, and DCFS Abuse and Neglect Tracking System Check.
