Join a dedicated team at a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality products. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a key role in both shipping/receiving and hands-on manufacturing operations. This position offers a unique schedule of four 10-hour days (Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm), providing a three-day weekend every week. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both computers and manufacturing equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop a broad skill set in a supportive and safety-focused environment.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including preparing shipments and receiving inventory. Shipping and receiving duties will vary between 2-10 hours seasonally, remainder of work hourswill be spent performing other duties.
- Operate a variety of machines and equipment.
- Assemble components according to specifications and ensure proper labeling of products.
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Participate in process improvement and efficiency projects.
- Read and interpret sales orders, production orders,and quality check sheets.
- Pack products and parts according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Provide courteous assistance to visitors and vendors, notifying appropriate staff of deliveries or pickups.
- Assist in other departments and perform daily housekeeping duties as needed.
- Uphold company core values through consistent communication and professional behavior.
- Computer skills and experience with data entry.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds of product and equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
