Production Packer​/Filler Operator

Manpower is currently hiring Production Line Workers in Sparta, WI. Full-time positions. Temp to hire opportunity where client is looking for employees to take on permanent jobs after showing their great attendance and work ethic. Full benefits including health insurance upon permanent hire!

Packaging Line Packers & Fillers

** Location** :
Sparta, WI

** Pay Rate** :

+ Packer - $22.05 plus $1.00 shift differential

+ Filler - $23.30 plus $1.00 shift differential

** What's the job?*
* + Safe operation of assigned equipment

+ Maintain an acceptable standard of output and quality from assigned equipment.

+ Tear down, set up and operate equipment in an efficient and safe manner.

+ Verify correct product and packaging specifications for each production run.

+ Assist in areas when needed to keep line running efficiently.

+ Communicate with line personnel on a regular basis to maintain line efficiency.

+ Trouble shoot and discover problem areas quickly and make minor adjustments to equipment in order to maintain efficiency and quality.

+ Log equipment downtime and assist in line changeovers.

+ Observe and report any major equipment issues to supervisor.

* + Ability to stand for long periods of time.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

+ Ability to read and understand instructions.

+ Ability to troubleshoot problems and fix them in an efficient, safe manner.

+ Basic mechanical skills.

+ Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.

+ A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to work as part of a team.

* 1:25 pm - 9:30 pm
- Monday
- Friday and OT as needed
