Senior Cash Accountant (Contract – 4 Months)
Location: Remote
Duration: 4-Month Contract
OverviewWe are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Cash Accountant for a 4‑month contract engagement. This role will focus primarily on cash reconciliations and manual cash matching processes that are currently not automated. The ideal candidate will bring strong cash accounting experience and a high level of accuracy and analytical skill to ensure financial data integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed cash reconciliations on a regular basis
- Manually match transactions through a reconciliation queue
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Analyze cash activity and validate financial data integrity
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support accurate reporting
- Maintain thorough documentation of reconciliation processes
- Proven experience in cash accounting and reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Advanced Excel skills (required)
- Experience with Net Suite (preferred but not required)
- Ability to dig into complex data and ensure accuracy
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Highly analytical with strong problem‑solving skills
- Experienced in manual reconciliation processes
- Able to manage workload effectively within a contract timeframe
