Manufacturing​/Distribution Cost Accountant

• What your future day will look like:Standard cost and actual cost analysis
• Inventory valuation
• Review, analysis, correction, and maintenance of Moving Average Prices (MAP)
• Material, Labor, and Overhead variance analysis
• Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) analysis
• Month-end and year-end closing support
• Physical inventory and audit support
• Planning, analysis, and continuous improvement of Cycle Count programs
• Inventory reconciliation between SAP and physical inventory
• Slow-moving and obsolete inventory analysis
• Support and maintenance of SAP master data
• Review of BOM, Routing, and Production Order related data
• Collaboration with Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to improve cost performance
• Continuous improvement of cost accounting and inventory management processes

• To be a champion in this role, you will need: 2+ years of cost accounting experience from manufacturing or distribution
• Advanced Excel knowledge, including proficiency in x-lookup, v-lookup, and sum if
• SAP proficiency a strong plus
