This position is responsible for supporting the Product Development/Costing department by creating and maintaining price grids for vendors in addition to assisting with price entry and cost roll-ups as well as cost estimates and analysis for special projects as required.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for communicating with Brand Managers and vendors to finalize/confirm approved prices - creating and maintaining price grids - as assigned by Product Cost and Data Manager
  • Responsible for assisting with price revisions by PO/SKU to the Planning team as required
  • Responsible for researching price variances from vendors, involving Brand Managers and Product Cost and Data Manager when necessary, and revising the prices grids and SKU level prices as well as giving revisions to the Planning team when necessary
  • Responsible for using the PLM Workflow Priority Report to manage projects for price entry/cost roll-up task with guidance from the Product Cost and Data Manager as needed and for updating the applicable tasks in workflow
  • Responsible for entering pricing in Great Plains and PLM and for sending SKUs for roll-up
  • Responsible for maintaining Daily Cost Roll-Up Log and distribution to applicable departments
  • Responsible for filing and maintaining hard copy cost files including monitoring the space and the obsolete requests
  • Responsible for setting up items for rehandle as requested by the Planning department
  • Responsible for evaluating requests to re-activate SKUS by researching the price history and determining if the price needs to be revised and re-costed before re-activating.
  • Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining PLM and Great Plains standard operating procedures for costing tasks with guidance and assistance from Product Cost and Data Manager as needed
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) with strong proficiency in Excel being a plus
  • Good communication skills (written and oral) in order to effectively communicate and report information to all levels of the Company and effectively communicate with international vendors
  • Ability to prioritize work/projects and answer questions related to work assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in successfully handling time sensitive projects and meeting assigned deadlines
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on a routine basis
  • Ability to problem solve as needed
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Possess strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Possess a team-oriented mentality
  • Ability to multi-task on a routine basis, be detail-oriented, adapt plans and change direction as needed, have a proactive mind set and have the ability to perform the job under a moderate to high level of stress
