Automotive Technician
As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.

Additional InformationWe are a family owned dealership who understands you are not just a number. You will be a valuable member of our work family. We employ 3 service advisors and the other 2 advisors have been here for 5 plus years. We work as a team and fully believe in that way. It is a salary plus commission job and both of the other advisors made 70000 plus last year.

An "entry level" technician:
Capable of oil changes, tire rotations, completing minor services, tire, and battery replacement etc. Can perform most tasks that do not require in-depth diagnostics or complex critical mechanical aptitude with guidance as needed upon researching work instructions, or after being taught theproper techniques first.
