We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support our leadership and sales teams in planning and preparing for a major transportation industry convention taking place in Fall 2026. This internship offers hands‑on experience in strategic planning, cross‑functional collaboration, event preparation, and sales support within a fast‑paced, professional environment.
The intern will play a key role in coordinating logistics, preparing materials, tracking timelines, and supporting initiatives that ensure a successful presence at one of the industry’s most important events.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with leadership and sales teams to support planning efforts for a major transportation convention
- Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and task trackers related to convention preparation
- Support preparation of sales and marketing materials, presentations, and briefing documents
- Coordinate logistics related to the convention (e.g., schedules, vendor communication, internal deadlines)
- Conduct research on attendees, exhibitors, competitors, and industry trends as needed
- Assist with internal communications and meeting coordination tied to convention planning
- Provide onsite or virtual support during the convention (as applicable)
- Support postconvention followup activities, including organization of leads, notes, and feedback
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams and senior leaders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Interest in sales, business development, event planning, or the transportation industry
- Experience with CRM tools, project management software, or event planning
- Strong analytical or research skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Exposure to leadership‑level planning and decision‑making
- Real‑world experience supporting a high‑impact industry event
- Insight into sales strategy and business development within the transportation sector
