Podiatrist (DPM) – Senior Care / Long-Term Care
Locations: Charleston, SC | Florence, SC | Spartanburg, SC
Compensation: $150,000 – $250,000 per year
Practice Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facilities
Position OverviewWe are seeking three Podiatrists (DPMs) to provide high-quality foot and ankle care to patients in senior care and long-term care communities across Charleston, Florence, and Spartanburg, South Carolina
. These positions offer exceptional flexibility, strong clinical and administrative support, and an outstanding work-life balance —
no call, no weekends, no nights, and no surgery

This opportunity is ideal for both experienced podiatrists and new graduates directly out of residency
.
- Part‑time and full‑time flexibility
- Finish most days by 2–3 PM
- No surgery
- Established patient base in LTC/SNF settings
- Full clinical and administrative support
- Travel expenses covered
- Facilities: 8–10 Long‑Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Facility Size: 80–150 beds
- Daily Visits: Approximately 2 facilities per day
- Charleston, SC

- Spartanburg, SC
- Travel to contracted long‑term care facilities to provide podiatric services
- Perform comprehensive foot and ankle evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity
- Manage complex diabetic foot conditions using evidence‑based protocols
- Provide general podiatric care, including treatment of forefoot and select rearfoot conditions (hallux valgus, hammertoes, ankle instability, soft tissue and bony pathology)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Order and prescribe appropriate treatments, including physical medicine and therapy
- Accurately document patient care and treatment plans in the EMR
- Communicate effectively with facility administrators and interdisciplinary care teams
- Participate in outreach and educational events as needed
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program
- Board Certified or Board Qualified
- Active South Carolina medical license
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a mobile care environment
- Competitive salary ($150,000–$250,000 annually) with RVU‑based productivity bonus

Physical Requirements
- Regular local travel by car required
- Ability to use electronic medical records and computer systems
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs as needed
