Overview
Physician - OB Hospitalist
Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System located in Spartanburg, SC is seeking to hire OB Hospitalists to join a new and growing program. The OB Hospitalist will provide emergency/unassigned/OBED care, call coverage, and assist with the management of private OBGYN deliveries and GYN emergencies. Private OBGYNs will oversee their own post-op patients. New residents are welcome to apply.
ResponsibilitiesHighlights of the opportunity include:
- Busy 14-bed L&D with over 3500 deliveries a year and 12,000 OBED encounters
- New OBGYN residency program starting 2025; will supervise residents
- Attend all deliveries, floor, and cover 6-bed OB ED – 2 physicians in house per night
- 12 (7p-7a) and 24-hour shifts available
- In-house anesthesia coverage, Level III NICU with 24-hour coverage and MFM available
- Compensation package including $6000 CME allowance
