Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support students educational and emotional development in Spartanburg, SC. This contract position offers a chance to work within a school setting, providing critical psychological services that enhance students learning experiences and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students learning and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote positive student outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated care and support for students.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant laws and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience conducting assessments and delivering interventions in a school environment.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessments, and mental health interventions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and stakeholders.
