Mechanical Design Engineer - Contract to Hire
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in the area of 29301. This company is known for its innovative approach to engineering solutions, ensuring high-quality designs that meet customer needs while minimizing manufacturing costs.
Pay Rate/Salary of the Mechanical Design Engineer$40-$45/hr, $80-$85K upon conversion.
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer- Create and develop 3D models and drawings using Solid Works (2021).
- Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet customer specifications.
- Evaluate products according to quality standards and specifications.
- Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Work with suppliers and customers to determine product specifications.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical design/manufacture.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred;
Associates in related fields acceptable. - Proficient in Solid Works, particularly in the Weldments tab/function.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
