Join a stable, growing manufacturer developing innovative consumer products from concept through production. We're seeking a hands‑on mechanical engineer who enjoys solving design challenges, building prototypes, validating products, and collaborating with manufacturing to bring new products to market.
Responsibilities- Lead mechanical design from concept through production release
- Develop new products, components, and assemblies
- Create 3D models, drawings, GD&T, and engineering documentation
- Build and evaluate prototypes
- Perform design validation and support product testing
- Conduct design tradeoff studies balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and suppliers throughout development
- Support value engineering and cost reduction initiatives
- Resolve design, production, and field performance issues
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of mechanical product development experience
- Proven experience bringing consumer products from concept through production
- Strong background in New Product Development (NPD)
- Prototyping, validation, and manufacturing support
- GD&T, tolerance stack analysis, and engineering documentation
- Strong engineering judgment and problem‑solving skills
- Consumer products, outdoor power equipment, power tools, appliances, lawn and garden equipment
- High‑volume manufacturing
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder required
