Floating Teller (Part-Time Spartanburg)
Are you a customer service enthusiast with a passion for providing exceptional personal service? CPM Federal Credit Union invites you to join us as a Part-Time Floating Teller in a unique role. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to work a varying schedule while offering a dynamic work experience and a range of benefits.
As a Floating Teller, you will work at different branches and with different teams, ensuring that no two days are the same. You will gain valuable experience while delivering top-notch service to our members.
Hours will depend on branch scheduling needs. Part-time employees can expect to work up to 30 hours per week during the standard workweek of Monday – Thursday 8 am – 5 pm, Friday 8 am – 6 pm, and Saturday 9 am – 12 pm. You must be willing to travel to accommodate branch scheduling needs.
What You’ll Do- Deliver exceptional member service, ensuring needs are met with utmost care.
- Perform basic teller transactions accurately and efficiently, including accepting deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, cashing checks, and issuing official checks.
- Resolve member issues and concerns promptly and professionally, or direct them to the appropriate staff for resolution, ensuring satisfaction and high-quality service.
- Listen to members, identify financial requirements, and recommend suitable Credit Union products and services to support team sales objectives.
- Preferred prior teller or customer service experience.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in financial transactions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for professional member service.
- Sales-oriented mindset, recognizing member needs and making suitable recommendations.
- Familiarity with banking policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Flexibility in working hours and adapting to changing staffing needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
