Pharmacy Technician - PRN

Overview

We are seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Spartanburg Rehabilitation Institute in Spartanburg, South Carolina provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative care with a personal touch. Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred
• Hospital experience preferred
• National certification (PTCB) preferred

• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
• Ability to utilize concepts of age/developmental stages in interactions with patients and families.

Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs. Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs. Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer. Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
