Physical Therapy Assistant; Flexologist

Stretch Lab Spartanburg is seeking experienced health or fitness professionals who have worked in the industry and know the body and how it moves. People who are passionate about helping others feel better and live life more fully, and who know how to make and execute improvement programs.

Stretch Lab requires our stretch therapists to have an accredited license, certification, or degree before entering our training program where we teach you how to stretch. We pay for the training and your time to do the training, so we are interested in investing in individuals who want to stick around and grow with us.

Stretch Lab has an amazing team of stretch professionals, and we’re looking for others who are that good too! Our team is professional, but also a lot of fun. • This is a W2 position (NOT 1099)
• No cold calling, no calling at all, no finding your own clients – we do that!
• We value the abilities, knowledge, and experience required to work in the health/fitness field
• Our stretch therapists (Flexologists) are healers and health coaches – they make an amazing impact on the people they work with – they literally change lives
• We’re a great way to gain hands on experience to build your resume and confidence while you are getting your graduate or doctorate degree
• We have an immediate need, and because we have such a great work environment and team, our openings fill quickly – don’t delay!

• Deliver one‑on‑one assisted stretch sessions
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
• Help build Stretch Lab membership through expert recommendations and retain current clientele with program planning
• Ensure safety of clients in regard to proper stretch techniques
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations

• Love of fitness/health is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility
• Experience working in a fitness/health environment providing hands‑on training with clients is a plus
• An accredited fitness or health related certification, license, or degree is required
  , and it must be current
• Certification/license/degree can be any of the following:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist
  • Licensed Massage Therapist
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist
  • LPN / RN (sorry, but not CNA)
  • Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Certified Personal Trainer
  • Certified Pilates, Yoga, or Dance Instructor
  • Degreed in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Human Biomechanics
  • Other wellness/fitness certifications or degrees considered individually (must include an understanding of concepts such as anatomy, physiology, kinesiology)

• Fri 9am-3pm
• Sat 8am-2pm
• We’re constantly growing so always looking for great candidates with various schedule needs. It would be best if you are flexible and can fit in where we currently have a need, but we will consider more rigid schedules for the right person.
