Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Long Term Care

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring a minimum of 1 year of LTC/SNF experience and a valid SC or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting,

• Patient ratio of 1:9-12,

• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00),

• Weekend work is required,

• Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required (pending license will be considered, but must be obtained prior to start),

• Current BLS certification required,

• Minimum 1 year of LTC/SNF experience required; 2+ years preferred,

• Comfort and familiarity with LTC/SNF care environments required,

• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted,

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront - RTO requests made after initial submission will not be considered,

• A Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed; candidates have one attempt,

• The facility enforces an attendance policy: missing more than two shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review and potential cancellation
