Asset Lifecycle Management Technician - Data Center

The Data Center ALM Technician is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the day-to-day tracking, documentation, and lifecycle management of IT hardware assets in a mission-critical data center environment. This position involves assisting with receiving, inventory control, deployments, decommissions, and proper disposal of assets while following established procedures and compliance requirements to ensure accuracy of records and support the smooth flow of equipment through its full lifecycle.

* Required Qualifications:

** High school diploma or equivalent with strong attention to detail and organizational skills  Basic computer skills and ability to learn asset management software systems (CMDB, DCIM, ITSM tools)  Physical ability to lift equipment, work in data center environments, and perform manual handling tasks  Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain accurate records and chain-of-custody processes Ability to follow detailed procedures and compliance requirements consistently

* Preferred Qualifications:

** Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or IT support roles Basic knowledge of IT hardware components including servers, storage devices, and networking equipment Familiarity with ticketing systems and asset tracking databases  

Experience with barcode scanning systems or inventory management tools  Strong communication skills for coordinating with technical teams and vendors
