Judicial Foreclosure Team Lead
McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking a Team Lead for our Judicial Foreclosure division in South Carolina. The Judicial Foreclosure Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of delinquent, court-ordered foreclosure files, directing a team to ensure compliance with state laws and investor guidelines from referral to sale.
Responsibilities- Manage judicial foreclosure proceedings, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and investor (e.g., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) guidelines.
- Supervise a team of processors, providing training, coaching, and mentoring to improve performance and ensure adherence to internal SLAs.
- Act as a liaison with outside counsel to move files, update legal documents, and prepare for court hearings.
- Ensure timely, courteous, and thorough responses to a heavy volume of email correspondence.
- Review foreclosure documents for accuracy, such as affidavits, judgments, and deeds.
- Monitor portfolios to prevent delays, mitigate financial risk, and maximize recovery rates.
- Generate reports, such as client scorecards and daily production reports.
Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. - A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in lender processing or other default services processing within the legal domain.
- Possess a strong understanding of judicial foreclosure laws and procedures.
- Preferably familiar with client and case management systems like Case Aware, Perfect Practice, Black Knight, and Tempo.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
- Demonstrates a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Capable of effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience with SCRA and proficiency with electronic databases would be advantageous.
