We have an exciting opportunity at our Spartanburg Facility for a hands‑on leader with problem‑solving capabilities to take Motus to the NEXT level. The Team Lead will be responsible for setting up, diagnosing and maintaining process controls on all equipment in their designated area while managing the assigned production lines’ performance.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor production for accuracy and efficiency, including collaboration with quality department to ensure part meets all quality and performance specifications through performing quality checks
  • Ensure all work cells are correct after changeover
  • Assist with process changes as necessary
  • Create new waterjet recipes for new tools or tools moving from one line to another
  • Start‑up processes after changeover and operational uptime through temporarily operating production when needed
  • Report hour‑by‑hour efficiency and material losses, identify root cause and, when applicable, implement corrective actions
  • Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot processes and problems
  • Recommend improvements and support company continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support Process Engineer in resolving product non‑conformity issues
  • Ensure procedures and processes followed by all team members
  • Keep plant tour ready / Instill good housekeeping in all team members
  • Promote a safe work environment and prevent injuries through 5S
  • Continuously analyze the assigned area of responsibility for improved methods of production, tool design, communication, reporting, cost controls and layout; make recommendations to supervisor for improvements
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
  • Associate’s degree or Technical Degree preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in a technical environment/role
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
